The bid for hosting the event, co-signed by the three Dutch clubs of DVH Amstelveen, Olympia Haarlem, and Vynnep Flyers, was accepted by the WBSC Europe Board.

Twenty-one teams will compete in the Men's Softball European Super Cup 2023, the European men's fastpitch's flagship competition for clubs.

The tournament will take place over six days on three fields.

In 2022, the Oslo Alligators from Norway won the Men's Softball European Super Cup, and the Stabroek Chicaboo's from Belgium won the Men's Softball Europe Cup.
