Europe's finest softball clubs ready to compete at Men's Softball European Super Cup 2023

The XI Men's Softball European Super Cup gears up to kick off from August 28 to September 3, 2023. Set against the backdrop of the Netherlands, this premier tournament will feature Europe's finest men's softball clubs and talents from all over the world.

The tournament will unfold across three venues: the Nol Houtkamp Sportpark in Haarlem, the DVH Sportcentrum in Amstelveen, and the Sportcomplex Oosterdreef in Nieuw-Vennep.

A total of 20 teams are set to vie for supremacy in this year's Super Cup, representing a diverse array of nations. The teams are divided into four groups, each poised to showcase their prowess in a riveting round-robin format.

• Vennep Flyers (NED)
• Czechia U23

Group B:

• DVH Amstelveen (NED)
• Hoboken Pioneers (BEL)
• Hurricans (DEN)

• Spectrum Praha (CZE)

Group C:

• Chicaboo's (BEL)
• Locos Breclav (CZE)
• Span (CRO)
• Stags (GBR)
• VSC Sweden (SWE)

Group D:

• Deurne Spartans (BEL)
• Les Rabbits (FRA)
• MRKI Medvedi (CRO)
• Olympia Haarlem (NED)
• Painbusters Most (CZE)

With a total of 76 games on the schedule, the tournament has a unique setup. The initial rounds will see all teams battling it out within their respective groups during the round-robin phase over three intense days. Following this, the top eight teams - two from each group - from the initial rounds will advance to the Super Cup. Meanwhile, the lower ranked teams will compete in the Softball Europe Cup.

Looking back at the 2022 edition, Oslo Alligators (NOR) clinched victory in the Super Cup and Stabroek Chicaboo's (BEL) triumphed in the Softball Europe Cup.

As the 2023 Super Cup approaches, teams are gearing up to etch their names into the annals of softball history.
