The Women's Softball European Cup Winners Cup B prepares to unfold from August 21st to 26th. Simultaneously running with the higher-tier Women's Softball European Cup Winners Cup A and the Women's Softball European Premier Cup, this event promises a week of intense competition in Moergestel, Netherlands.

Seven teams are primed to compete in the Women's Softball European Cup Winners Cup B 2023 to have their National Federation qualify for next year's Women's Softball European Cup Winners Cup A.

The host club Roef! (NED) will proudly represent their nation alongside the Barbarians (GBR), the Crazy Chicklets (AUT), Medvednica Mrki Medvedi (CRO), the Thunderbirds (ISR), the Challengers Zürich (SUI), and a notable addition, the Titans (BOT), hailing from Botswana.

The tournament's schedule commences with a round-robin format, ensuring each team faces all teams. From Monday to Friday, teams will engage in thrilling matchups to establish their rankings.

As the competition reaches its pinnacle, the stage will be set for the medal matches on Saturday, August 26th. The teams ranked 4th to 7th in the first round robin will play another round robin to determine the final ranking.

The teams ranked 3rd and 4th from the initial round-robin phase will engage in a battle for the bronze medal at 18:00. Following this, the top two teams arising from the initial round-robin will take center stage at 20:30, vying for the coveted gold medal.

In the previous edition held in Evry-Courcouronnes, France, in 2022, Les Pharaons emerged victorious.

The Women's Softball European Cup Winners Cup B 2023 will be live-streamed on the WBSC Europe YouTube Channel. Additionally, play-by-play will be available on the WBSC Europe website.
