First Round ends at U-18 Baseball Euros with Italy winning Group A

The preliminary round at the U-18 Baseball European Championship in Regensburg, Germany ended on Friday with the last six games. In the decisive game in Group A, Italy beat Germany 9-3 to win the pool ahead of the hosts. In the other games on the day France prevailed 10-8 over Czechia. Austria secured its spot in the A-Pool with a 7-6 surprise win over Israel. Belgium stunned Great Britain 6-2. The Netherlands downed Sweden 19-1. Spain shut out Croatia 13-0. The Netherlands will play Germany at 18:00 in the semi-final one, while Italy takes on Great Britain at 19:30 in the second.
