The World Baseball Softball Confederation Europe (WBSC Europe) sent out to its Members Federations the nomination forms for the Women’s Softball Athletes Representative position to be elected in 2022.

WBSC Europe Baseball Technical and Competitions Committee released the WBSC Europe Baseball Competitions Regulations and its appendix for the 2022 season. Alongside, the approved bat lists have been published.

Slovenia will host its first-ever international Baseball5 tournament on June 18, 2022, in Rogaška Slatina.

Three Women's Softball European Championships will take place in 2022, including the top event for the European softball season: the Women’s Softball European Championship.

The 2020 edition was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The six participants are Japan, USA, Netherlands, Cuba, Italy and Curaçao.
