PRAGUE, Czech Republic-The Suma Pony European Zone Championships begin on Thursday, 19 April, at Eagles Park in Prague (Czech Republic). The age brackets are Pony U-14 (Boy’s Baseball), Colt U-16 (Boy’s Baseball) and Colt U-16 Girl’s Softball).
The champions will receive automatic bids to the Pony and Colt World Series in the USA.

The Italian Baseball Softball Federation announced its Women’s Softball National Team for the first stage of the USSSA European Pro Series presented by WBSC, scheduled for 24-25 April in in Caronno, northwest of Milan.

Czech Republic Women’s Softball National Team announced today its roster for the second stage of the USSSA European Pro Series presented by WBSC, to be played in Prague from on 27-28 April. Aiming for Tokyo 2020, the Czech Republic’s roster consists of players who are members of the newly established Olympic-preparation training program.

The 12 qualified nations have been drawn into two groups of six and will begin the women’s baseball flagship competition with a round-robin.

All 12 nations are now confirmed for the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup 2018, which will be staged at the USSSA Space Coast Complex from 22-31 August, in Viera (FL), USA.
