The WBSC Europe Members elect Alkalay, Szczepanik, and Liarommatis to the Executive Board

The Seventh Congress of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Europe, held in Malaga, Spain, elected three key positions to the Executive Board. Youri Alkalay is the WBSC Europe Baseball5 Vice President, while Pawel Szczepanik and Konstantinos Liarommatis are two of the WBSC Europe Members at Large, respectively for Baseball and Softball.

WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari addressed the Congress and said: “On 10 May we will celebrate the 10-year WBSC anniversary with World Baseball Softball Day. Luis Camargo representing Austria, Italy and Brazil at Global Baseball Games

With one month to go until the Global Baseball Games between Japan and Team Europe, we meet Luis Camargo. The Brazilian-born has Italian heritage and is a dual citizen. He represented both countries internationally as a left-handed hitting catcher. He manages the Austrian Champions Diving Ducks and will serve on Team Europe's coaching staff.
