Czech Baseball Association - WBSC Europe Baseball Federation of the Year
The Czech Baseball Association was honored with the title of WBSC Europe Federation of the Year. This recognition was awarded for the outstanding organization of EuroBaseball 2023. The Local Organising Committee of the event set new standards for baseball championships across the continent. This is the fourth time that Czech Republic has been recognised the award of Federation of the Year.
Nelson Prada (ESP) - WBSC Europe Baseball Coach of the Year
Nelson Prada from Spain was named WBSC Europe Coach of the Year for the 2023 season. Prada guided the Spanish National Team to victory in EuroBaseball, marking their second triumph since 1955.
Marek Vičar (CZE) - WBSC Europe Baseball Umpire of the Year
Marek Vičar from the Czech Republic was conferred the title of WBSC Europe Umpire of the Year. Vičar's on-field performance has been consistently outstanding, earning him recognition as a role model for young umpires. Vičar was the lead instructor of the WBSC Europe Certification Clinic 2023 and of many other clinics throughout Europe.
Romana Kucková (CZE) - WBSC Europe Baseball Scorer of the Year
Romana Kucková, also from the Czech Republic, was celebrated as WBSC Europe Scorer of the Year. Kucková's extensive contributions to scoring in Czechia over the years have been exemplary. Kucková was one of the leading scorers at EuroBaseball 2023, and her performance guaranteed her to score the gold medal game.
