After Saturday’s postponement was made up yesterday we’re back on the regular schedule at the U-18 European Baseball Championship in Hluboka and Ostrava, Czech Republic on Monday. On day three of the preliminary round six games are on the tap.

Four teams remain undefeated after the first two days of the preliminary round at the U-18 European Baseball Championship in the Czech Republic. On Sunday host Czechia, Germany, defending champion Netherlands and Spain improved to 2-0 in the competition. The first round continues on Monday with six games.

Day 2 at the U-18 European Baseball Championship in Czech on Sunday will feature seven games after one of the originally six games on Saturday was rained out.

Day one at the U-18 European Baseball Championship in the Czech Republic on Saturday saw five lopsided wins in the ballparks in Hluboka and Ostrava and an evening rainout, which adds a game to day two on Sunday.

Twelve Junior Baseball National Teams will compete in the 2022 U-18 European Baseball Championship, which will be played from Saturday, August 13 to Saturday, August 20 in six different venues in the Czech cities of Ostrava, Brno, Hluboka and Blansko.

Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Israel, and Italy are the six teams in Group B of the U-18 Baseball European Championship, set to take place in Czech Republic, from Saturday 13 August to Saturday 20 August. Group B will play in Ostrava on the field of the Arrows.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation Europe (WBSC Europe) and Synergy Sports, a division of Sportradar, have signed a partnership agreement granting Synergy access to film, analyse and store data and video from all WBSC Europe tournaments to use within the range of products and services it offers.

The six teams in Group A of the U-18 Baseball European Championship will play at the sports complex in Hluboká nad Vltavou, Czech Republic, from Saturday 13 August to Tuesday 16 August. The games will be played at 11:00, 15:00, and 19:00.

Belgium denied the Cinderella story for Ukraine with a 6-5 win in extra innings on Saturday to claim victory at the U18 European Baseball Championship Qualifier in Trnava, Slovakia. Belgium tied the game in the seventh to force extra innings, before walking off in the ninth. With the tournament win Belgium qualified for the U18 European Baseball Championship, which will take place in the Czech Republic in August 2022.
