The WBSC Europe Softball Umpiring Committee announced two certification clinics for 2024: one for fast pitch and one for slow pitch.
WBSC Europe Fast Pitch Softball Umpire Certification Clinic
This clinic, led by Raoul Machalet, will feature three online meetings and a final on-field evaluation during a tournament.
The registration, exclusively through National Federations, closes on March 18th.
Dates:
• Online Meeting #1: Wednesday 20/03/2024
• Online Meeting #2: Wednesday 10/04/2024
• Online Meeting #3: Wednesday 24/04/2024
• Tournament: 11-12/05/2024 in Prague, Czech Republic
Participants must attend all three online meetings and arrive on Friday, May 10th for the tournament.
Fees:
• Clinic fee: €75
• Accommodation: €110 for a double room, €135 for a single room
• Transportation: at the participant's expense
WBSC Europe Slow Pitch Softball Umpire Certification Clinic
The slow pitch clinic will be conducted by Pete Saunders.
The compulsory online sessions are five, and a final on-field evaluation will follow during "Bristol Somerball" on 29th-30th June 2024.

• Online Meeting #2: Tuesday 23/04/24

• Tournament: 29-30/06/2024 in Bristol, UK.
Participants must attend all online meetings and arrive in Bristol on Friday, June 28th.

• Accommodation and Transportation: at the participant's expense
National umpires selected by their federations are encouraged to participate to obtain the WBSC Europe Certification, necessary to umpire at the international level.
