07/07/2023
The U-18 Men's Softball European Championship 2023 round robin phase witnessed twenty games on the softball venue of Sezimovo Ústí, Czechia. The home team Czechia displayed an impeccable record of 8 victories.

The first U-18 Men's Softball European Championship finalist is the top ranked team Czechia (8W-0L). The Czech national squad won all the opening round games but one by mercy rule. Their powerful offense, combined with exceptional pitching and solid defense, overwhelmed their opponents. The record is 8 wins in as many games.

Both Israel and Denmark have a record of 5 Ws and 3 losses after the opening round. Because of the run difference in the games against each other, Israel passes to the gold medal game, while Denmark will face Great Britain (2W-6L) in the bronze medal game, scheduled at 15:30 at the ballpark of Sezimovo Ústí.

Croatia (0W-8L) faced challenging opponents and encountered defeats in all their matches, ranking fifth in the tournament. Croatian Patrik Krutman is one of the sluggers of the tournament, closing his tournament with a .600 batting average.

All teams have displayed great fair play and the atmosphere at the ballpark has been one to remember.
