The Red Bulls won the second European Baseball Winter League

The European Baseball Winter League saw the Red Bulls succeed. The Golden Stars won the silver medal and the Blue Lions took the bronze home. The League included fifty-four prospects from ten countries.

Fifty-four prospects from Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain gathered in Tenerife, Spain, for the second edition European Baseball Winter League.

The European Baseball Winter League is a development project created with the goal to extend the baseball season and provide more games to the young European prospects. The league is organised by WBSC Europe, together with the Royal Spanish Baseball and Softball Federation and the Canary Islands Baseball and Softball Federation.

WBSC Europe Baseball Vice President Petr Ditrich commented on the 2022 edition: "the second European Baseball Winter League was a confirmation: players played and learned in a slower season for Europe. We had players from ten countries, and we hope to involve more and more countries in the coming years."

The three teams - Golden Stars, Blue Lions, and Red Bulls - practiced and played friendly games every day from November 20 to 26, 2022, led by Coaches Pete Caliendo, Boris Bokaj, and Aritz Garcia.

The Red Bulls won the final against the Golden Stars. The Blue Lions finished third.
Red Bull outfielder Carlos Gordon from the Canary Islands won the MVP award.
