Stuttgart wins the bid to host the Women’s Softball European Championship 2027

The Women’s Softball European Championship 2027 has found its home in Stuttgart, Germany. The German Baseball and Softball Federation is hosting the event together with the Stuttgart Reds Baseball and Softball Club.

Stuttgart Reds, hosts of the Baseball European Championship 2010 and a series of other tournaments such as the PONY Palomino Continental Finals, will provide the stage for the Women’s Softball European Championship 2027.

The existing baseball stadium of the Stuttgart Reds will be transformed into a softball stadium, boasting over 650 roofed seats and an additional 400 seats along the baselines ready in time for the Women’s Softball European Championship 2027.

In addition to the main venue, the Stuttgart Reds' existing softball field, which regularly hosts softball Bundesliga games, will serve as the second field, accommodating over 500 spectators.

The sports center also offers several gyms, five batting cages (some roofed), locker rooms, and various other amenities to enhance the overall experience of the championship.

There are several options for fields three and if needed four in the Stuttgart area, which will be determined soon.

Stuttgart is located in southwestern Germany. Its central location in Europe makes it easily accessible for all participating nations.

The dates for the Women’s Softball European Championship 2027 in Stuttgart, Germany are to be announced.
