Road to Eurobaseball: it's a tie between Italy and Czechia

In the lead-up to the Baseball European Championship, Czechia and Italy engaged in a two-game series on September 21 and 22, 2023. With each team claiming victory, the stage has been set for the Championship ahead.

The first game, held on September 21, 2023, saw Italy emerging victorious with a final score of 7-1 against the Czech national team. 

Determined to even the score, the Czech team bounced back on September 22, 2023. Czechia triumphed over Italy with a final score of 5-3. 

Both games were streamed and remain available for viewing on baseballeurope.tv. 

At the Baseball European Championship 2023, Italy is set to compete in Pool B together with Sweden, Great Britain, and Hungary in the city of Třebíč, while Czechia is slated to compete in Pool A alongside Spain, Austria, and Greece in Ostrava.
