Prague United Claims Victory in European Masters Cup

The fourth edition of the Men's Softball European Masters Cup concluded with a spectacular display of skill among the participating teams, all comprised of players over 40 years old. Prague United (CZE) won the Cup.

The Men's Softball European Masters Cup, held at the Estadio Municipal de Sófbol Antonio Hervás in Sant Boi de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain, featured a total of 21 games over four intense days.

In the Gold Medal Game, Prague United (CZE) emerged victorious by defeating the Denmark Old Stars (DEN) with a decisive score of 6-0. This victory marked a turnaround from the previous year, when the Danish team had clinched the championship in 2022.

Mambas Sant Adria (ESP) secured the bronze medal.

Royal Greys Grizzlies (BEL) secured the 4th position in the final standings, followed by Junior Alpina (ITA) in 5th, Gubbs (SWE) in 6th, and Goya Team Rivas (ESP) in 7th. The standings were concluded by Tunnellers Prague (CZE) in the 8th position.

Throughout the event, the athletes demonstrated exceptional pitching and hitting skills, contributing to the overall success of the Men's Softball European Masters Cup.

The tournament's return to the Barcelona area in Catalonia, Spain, for the fourth time underscored the region's commitment to hosting and promoting this competition.
