In this years ESCA Training camp pitching will be one of the main skills that will be covered.
ESCA is pleased to confirm the Dutch pitcher and pitching coach Marjolein Merkx in the ESCA Training camp staff. Merkx is a talented pitcher for the Dutch National Team and the Dutch club Roef!.
With the Dutch National Team, Merkx won the 2022 Women's Softball European Championship. In the same summer, she lead the Les Pharaons d'Evry-Courcouronnes (FRA) to win the Women's Softball European Cup Winners Cup B.
The Austrian ace Martina Lackner-Keil joins the ESCA Training Camp staff in 2022, after having taking part in the past as a shadow coach.
Lackner-Keil first appeared in European competitions in 1999. She has been playing for the Austrian National Team and all over Europe in clubs competitions, including the Italian, Czech, and Austrian National Leagues.

During the five days of the 2022 ESCA training camp, softball will be played and debated: the 5-day camp experience includes over 20 hours of training and game activities, plus an additional 10 hours of classroom workshop sessions.
The ESCA training camp is for youth softball players of all genders aged 13 to 22 and for all Softball coaches. The motto of the ESCA Training Camp is: Let's get better together!
