The WBSC Europe Executive Board approved the nomination of František Bunta (SVK) as the WBSC Europe Baseball Technical and Competitions Director.
"I want to thank all the Members of the Baseball Technical Committee, led in 2022 by Ludo Peeters." WBSC Europe Baseball Vice President Petr Ditrich commented. "For the upcoming season, František Bunta will be responsible to lead the Technical Committee, supported by Stephan Lasfargues, Baseball Competition Chief".
"First of all, I want to thank the Executive Board of WBSC Europe for the trust," František's Bunta said after being appointed. "My goal is to improve the management of competitions and organize baseball tournaments at the highest possible level. I will work closely with the Committee of Umpires and Scorers and together with Stephan Lesgargues, we will work hard so that all participating teams in the WBSC Europe Baseball events are satisfied."
The WBSC Europe Baseball Competitions and Technical Committee is currently working on the preparation for the 2023 season, when at least ten events will be hosted in Europe.
