First day of the Women's Softball European Championship: preview
The first day of the 2022 Women's Softball European Championship takes place on Sunday, 24 July, in the Barcelona area, Spain.
Seventeen games will be played on the four fields in Catalunya, Spain, on the first day of the Women's Softball European Championship: five games in Sant Boi, four games in Montjuic, four games in Viladecans, and four games in Gavà.
The Opening Ceremony will take place at 20:00 in Sant Boi, right before the Opening Game between the home team Spain and Israel.
The top 8 national squads will play to define their standings in the quarter-finals, and all others will compete for the third spot in the quarterfinal.
