Danish Coach Daniel Nicolaisen added to St. Louis Cardinals coaching staff

Daniel Nicolaisen, native of Denmark, recently joined the St. Louis Cardinals as one of the hitting coaches at the Major League Level.

Daniel Nicolaisen was recently added to the Major League coaching staff as an Assistant Hitting Coach for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Previously in 2022, Nicolaisen worked as the team's minor league assistant hitting coordinator for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Nicolaisen has a background in fastpitch softball: after participating in the U-19 Men's Softball World Cup 2008, he won the U-19 Men's Softball European Championship 2009 and the Men's Softball European Championship 2010.

He started his coaching career in 2017, first in college softball and later in baseball.
