Cechie Carrots clinch back-to-back titles in Women's Softball European Masters Cup

The fourth edition of the Women's Softball European Masters Cup unfolded in Catalonia, Spain, showcasing players over 40 years old. Established in 2019, the tournament has become a tradition for European teams in this age category.

In the thrilling gold medal game of the Women's Softball European Masters Cup 2023, the Cechie Carrots from the Czech Republic emerged victorious, securing their second consecutive championship by defeating their compatriots, Joudrs Praha, in the final with a scoreline of 7-9.

The Suisse Team made a memorable debut at the event, clinching the bronze medal.

The rankings unfolded as follows: Diamonds from Germany secured the 4th position, Dutch Old Stars (Netherlands) claimed the 5th spot, Classic Bats Deutschland (Germany) landed in 6th place, and Classic Ladies (Denmark/Catalunia) concluded the competition in 7th position. Gavà from Catalonia, Spain, rounded off the standings.

A total of 21 games were contested between the eight participating teams on the fields of Viladecans and Sant Boi, situated close to Barcelona, Spain.

The tournament highlighted the sportsmanship that characterizes this unique event for softball enthusiasts aged 40 and above.
