2022 Prague Baseball Week gets underway on Wednesday

From Wednesday to Saturday, June 22 to 25, the 2022 edition of the Prague Baseball Week will take place in Prague, Czech Republic. The ballparks of the Eagles Prague and the Tempo Titans Prague will host one of the most prestigious international baseball tournaments in European Baseball. This year eight teams will compete for the title, including four national teams.

The Prague Baseball Week was first held in 1980 and since then has been played a total of 40 times. The 41st edition in 2022 will feature the Czech Republic, Old World Baseball, Greece and Spain in Group A, as well as France, Czech Prospects, Hakusoh Globetrotters and The North Baseball in Group B. From Wednesday to Friday a round robin preliminary round will be played. On Saturday the semi-finals and classification games will follow. The final is set for Saturday evening at 6.30pm.
