Sofia, Bulgaria, set to host the Coed Slowpitch European Super Cup 2023

The Coed Slowpitch European Super Cup is scheduled to take place in Sofia, Bulgaria, from August 7 to 12, 2023.

The thirteen participating teams of the Coed Slowpitch European Super Cup have been divided into two groups.

Group A comprises the BSC Buffaloes from Bulgaria, the Beveren Reapers representing Belgium, the Berlin Hangarounds from Germany, the Dodder Dynamoes of Ireland, the Travelling Dodgers hailing from the United Kingdom, the Eastpro from the Netherlands, and the Waynes Pardubice from Czechia.

Meanwhile, Group B boasts the Akademiks Sofia from Bulgaria, the BatPak from Ireland, the H20 team from the United Kingdom, the Poperinge Frontliners representing Belgium, the UCE Travellers e.V. from Germany, and the ASKÖ Linz Bandits & Witches from Austria.

The initial phase of the tournament will see the teams engage in a round-robin competition within their respective groups over the course of the first two and a half days.

Following this, the top three teams from each group will advance to the super round, where they will strive for victory and the opportunity to clinch a coveted medal.

Simultaneously, teams placed fourth to seventh in Group A and fourth to sixth in Group B will engage in fierce matches to determine their final rankings.

The Coed Slowpitch European Super Cup is held once every two years. In 2021, the Cup was secured by the Czech club Waynes Pardubice, making them the reigning European champions.
