Stabroek Chicaboo's wins the 2022 Men's Softball Europe Cup

The Stabroek Chicaboo's from Belgium won the 2022 Men's Softball Europe Cup. The final two games have not been played due to heavy rain on the Eagles field in Prague, Czech Republic, where the finals should have been played.

The Belgian Stabroek Chicaboo's conquered the 2022 Men's Softball Europe Cup being the first team in the standings when all games had to be suspended due to heavy rain in Prague, Czech Republic.

The Softball Europe Cup is the second phase of the Men's Softball Cup for clubs in Europe: the top 8 ranked played the Super Cup, while the lower teams played the Softball Europe Cup.

After the first round robin, in the Softball Europe Cup, the Stabroek Chicaboo's won all three games played against Žraloci Ledenice (CZE), 5-4, Vennep Flyers (NED), 11-1, and Montpellier Barracudas (FRA), 11-1.

The Stabroek Chicaboo's will have access to the 2023 Men's Softball European Super Cup, having won the 2022 Softball Europe Cup.

The Montpellier Barracudas (FRA) ranked second, having topped the Magos Tenerife (ESP), 3-0. The French and the Spanish were playing when all remaining games got cancelled due to several showers on the Eagles Ballpark in Prague, Czech Republic, where the Softball Europe Cup was played.

On a note, both teams - Montpellier Barracudas and Magos Tenerife - helped the field crew to dry the field and get it ready to play.
