Entries for 2022 Softball European Competitions are now open

Now that the European Softball Calendar for 2022 is approved, the registration process for teams is open. The deadline for National Federations to enter teams is December 31, 2021.

The forms are available for the National Federations to download at Softball Europe and at WBSC Europe websites: link to download the form for the European Championships and link to download the form for the European Cups.

The entries must be sent to Softball Europe Treasurer Eddy Van Straelen (evanstraelen@wbsceurope.org) and Softball Europe Secretary General Ami Baran (abaran@wbsceurope.org).

Following is the list of 2022 European Softball Championships for which the entries are open:

• Men’s Slowpitch European Championship | June 14 – 18 | Colorno (ITA)  
• U-22 Women’s European Championship | June 27 – July 2 | Kunovice (CZE) 
• U-23 Men’s European Championship | July 4 – 9 | Sezimovo Usti (CZE) | Qualifier
• U-15 Women’s European Championship | July 18 – 23 | Enschede (NED) | Qualifier
• Women’s European Championship | July 24 – 30 | Sant Boi (ESP) | Qualifier
• Coed Slowpitch European Championship | TBA | TBD | Qualifier

Following is the list of European Softball Cups 2022 for which the entries are open:

• Women’s European Premiere Cup | August 15 – 20 | Bollate (ITA) 
• Women’s European Cup | August 15 – 20 | TBD 
• Women’s European Cup Winners Cup “A” | August 15 – 20 | Viladecans (ESP) 
• Women’s European Cup Winners Cup “B” | August 15 – 20 | TBD 
• Men’s European Super Cup | August 22 – 27 | Prague (CZE)

Entries for the European M. Romeo Youth Trophy and the European Softball Masters Cups will open later in the season.

Three events are still in need of a venue, the Coed Slowpitch European Championship, the Women’s Softball European Cup, and the Women’s European Cup Winners Cup “B”. Bids will be open until December 31, 2021 (form to place a bid).
