U-18 Baseball European Championship 2024 Schedule Announced
The official schedule for the U-18 Baseball European Championship 2024 has been released, marking the countdown to the prestigious event. Hosted in Regensburg, Germany, the championship will be held at the Armin-Wolf-Arena, home of the Guggenberger Legionäre Regensburg, from July 8 to 14.
Group A consists of Spain, Italy, Germany, Israel, Austria, and Croatia. Group B includes the Netherlands, Czechia, France, Great Britain, Belgium, and Sweden.
The national squads will engage in a round-robin format within their respective groups.
Following the round-robin stage, the top teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, with the first-placed team in Group A facing the second-placed team in Group B, and vice versa.
The gold medal game is scheduled for 19:00 on July 14, Sunday, while the bronze medal game will take place at 18:00 on the second field.
In the 2022 edition of the championship, Spain won the title of European Champion, defeating the Netherlands 6-2 in a rain-shortened final in Brno, Czechia. Czechia secured third place, with Italy, Germany, and France following.
