The 39th Zeister Slot Tournament, organized by the Firebirds Club under the auspices of the Dutch Baseball and Softball Federation (Koninklijke Nederlandse Baseball en Softball Bond), will feature the national teams of Netherlands, Belgium, Great Britain, and U-23 Czechia, along with the club teams Amager Vikings from Denmark, Club de FastPitch Caribeños from Spain, and Burros Team from Mexico.
A total of 27 games are scheduled between the 7 participating teams, with a format that includes a single round-robin stage, playoffs, and a final game.
Sanctioned by WBSC Europe, the event is hosted at the Sportpark Dijnselburg in Zeist home of the Firebirds Club.
The Zeister Slot Tournament has a rich history of promoting the sport of men's softball, as evidenced by the fact that the tournament director Kristina Graafstal was awarded the SLUGGER AWARD by the Koninklijke Nederlandse Baseball en Softball Bond (KNBSB) in 2023.
