With events spanning various age groups and levels, the 2024 calendar is taking shape. The allocated events for 2024 include:
• U-12 Baseball European Championship in Paderborn (GER)
Paderborn, Germany, will host the U-12 Baseball European Championship, providing a platform for the youngest talents. The event is qualifier for the next expected WBSC World Cup.
• U-12 Baseball European Championship Qualifier in Trnava (SVK)
Trnava, Slovakia, will play host for the U-12 Baseball European Championship Qualifier, where teams will compete to advance to the championship event.
• U-15 Baseball European Championship Qualifier in Kaunas (LTU)
Kaunas, Lithuania, will be one of the battleground for teams aiming to secure their spot in the U-15 Baseball European Championship.
• U-18 Baseball European Championship in Regensburg (GER)
Regensburg, Germany, will host the U-18 Baseball European Championship, bringing together some of the most promising young talents in the continent to compete at the highest level. The event is qualifier for the next expected WBSC World Cup.
• U-23 Baseball European Championship Qualifiers in Budapest (HUN) and Zurich (SUI)
Budapest, Hungary, and Zurich, Switzerland, will host the U-23 Baseball European Championship Qualifiers, determining which teams will earn the right to compete in the main event in 2025.
• Baseball European Championship B Pool in Ashbourne (IRL) and Belgrade (SRB)
Ashbourne, Ireland, and Belgrade, Serbia, will serve as hosts for the Baseball European Championship B Pool, providing an opportunity for national teams to qualify for the 2025 EuroBaseball.
• Baseball European Federation Cup Qualifier in Ljubljana (SLO)
Ljubljana, Slovenia, will be the stage for the Baseball European Federation Cup Qualifier.
While the majority of the 2024 WBSC Europe Baseball events have found their hosts, several competitions are still in search of a suitable venue. These include the:
- Baseball European Cup 2024
- Baseball European Federation Cups 2024
- Baseball European Federation Cup Qualifiers 2024
- Another group of the U-15 Baseball European Championship Qualifier 2024
- Another group for the Baseball European Championship B Pool 2024 if needed, depending on the number of teams.
Bids for these events are open until December 1, 2023.
Trebič, home of the 2023 EuroBaseball in Czechia, has already been selected as the host for the U-23 Baseball European Championship 2025.
Decisions regarding the hosts for the U-12 Baseball European Championship 2025 and U-12 Baseball European Championship Qualifier 2025 will be made at a later time. Several bids were received for these events.
