Utrecht, Netherlands, to host the Women's Softball European Championship 2024

The Women's Softball European Championship, the pinnacle of softball excellence in the WBSC Europe calendar, is set to be played in Utrecht, Netherlands, in its 24th edition. The WBSC Europe Executive Board has officially accepted the bid from the Netherlands to host the Women's Softball European Championship 2024.

The Netherlands, the current champions, take on the role of host for the upcoming Women's Softball European Championship 2024, following the acceptance of their bid by the WBSC Europe Executive Board.

All eyes turn to the Netherlands for the Women's Softball European Championship 2024. The event is scheduled to take place in Utrecht, Netherlands, from September 1 to 7.

The Women's Softball European Championship 2024 will utilize the fields of the UVV softball complex, along with the Domstad Dodgers Ballpark. The Nieuwegein Diamonds and the Centrals/Wombats in De Bilt fields will also play host to this prestigious event.

Around twenty teams are expected to participate in the Women's Softball European Championship 2024, promising to be the highlight on the European softball calendar for 2024, contributing to the growth of the sport across the continent.

Utrecht previously hosted the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Softball Europe Africa Qualifier in 2019.
