Scheduled to take place from February 8th to February 11th, 2024, the 7th WBSC Europe Congress marks a pivotal moment in the European baseball and softball community.
The proceedings kick off with the arrival of delegates on February 8th and 9th. The Baseball and Softball Commissions meetings are scheduled on the morning of Friday, February 9th. The afternoon agenda includes the WBSC Europe Financial Report 2023, workshops from the WBSC Europe departments, and a convivial welcome cocktail in the evening.
The focal point is the General Congress slated for Saturday, February 10th, 2024. As part of the congress, elections will be conducted to fill key positions within the Executive Board. Positions undergoing transitions include:
- Softball Interim Member at Large – Kostis Liarommatis
- Baseball5 Interim Vice President – Youri Alkalay
- Resignation of Baseball Member at large – Virmidas Neverauskas (no interim appointed)
The gala dinner, scheduled for 19:00 on the same day, promises a night of celebration and networkingamong the delegates.
The curtains draw on Sunday, February 11th, 2024, as the delegates depart.

As per Article 13.11 of the WBSC Europe Statutes, Member Federations are reminded to submit motions and proposals ahead of the Congress. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, December 7th, 2023. Interested parties can find the necessary documents on the WBSC Europe website.
