The WBSC Europe Executive Board has recently given its approval to host a series of upcoming events in the European baseball calendar.
The WBSC Europe Executive Board entrusted Stockholm Baseboll & Softboll Klubb with hosting the Baseball European Federation Cup Qualifier.
WBSC Europe designates Sisak, Croatia, as the host for one group of the U-15 Baseball European Championship Qualifier. Kaunas, Lithuania, was previously awarded another group.
The baseball community in Kutno, Poland, secures the responsibility of hosting the third group of the Baseball European Championship B Pool. Ashbourne, Ireland, and Belgrade, Serbia, have already been granted the hosting of the first two groups.
Looking ahead to 2024, the quest for hosts intensifies as only two groups of the Baseball European Federation Cup remain unallocated. Nominations for these hosting opportunities are now open.
WBSC Europe Baseball Vice President Petr Ditrich in his report to the WBSC Europe Members commented: "Most of the hosting cities and countries are known. We have made big steps forward compared to last year – all European Championships and Qualifiers have their hosting cities."
