Second Leg of U-18 Baseball European Championship Qualifier starts on Thursday in Ashbourne, Ireland

Host Ireland, Croatia, Poland and Slovakia to play in second U-18 Baseball European Championship Qualifier from July 27 to 30.

From Thursday to Saturday a preliminary round robin will be played in Ashbourne with games scheduled on Thursday and Friday at 13:00 and 18:00, and on Friday at 11:00 and 16:00 local time. The best two teams will advance to the final on Sunday at 14:00.

This week’s U-18 Baseball European Championship Qualifier is the second this tournament summer. In Zurich, Switzerland, at the beginning of July, Sweden beat Lithuania in the final to capture the first of two open spots for next year’s U-18 Baseball European Championship.

All games from Ashbourne will be streamed live through the WBSC Europe YouTube channel, while also all games will be available through live play by play on www.wbsceurope.org.
