World No. 7 Czech Republic crowned yesterday Men’s Softball European Champions for the fourth time in a row, defeating No. 19 Netherlands, 10-3, in the finale. Both nations, along with No. 11 Denmark, qualified to the WBSC Men’s Softball World Championship 2019

Czech Republic, Denmark, Great Britain and Netherlands remain alive in the XIV Men’s Softball European Championship, and are still in the hunt to fill one of the three available spots in the WBSC Men’s Softball World Championship 2019.

The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) today announced that all 54 games of the XII WBSC Junior Men’s Softball World Championship 2018 in Prince Albert, Canada, will be live-streamed and available to audiences worldwide for free through the Official WBSC YouTube Channel

A record-setting 12 teams opened today the XIV Men’s Softball European Championship in Havlíčkův Brod, Czech Republic. The event serves as the European qualifier for the WBSC Men’s Softball World Championship; to be held in Prague next year.

Today, 19 June, 2018, the Japan Softball Association [JSA] signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the French Baseball Softball Federation [FFBS] pledging to support the French national team’s continued development and the long-term expansion of softball in France.

Great Britain took the title in the first-ever European Men’s Slow Pitch Softball Championship, beating Germany in the final. The British team remained undefeated over the five-day tournament and was undoubtedly the best team in the competition.

Coincidentally with the celebration of the World Softball Day, today marks 50 days to go to the WBSC Women’s Softball World Championship, to be played in Chiba, Japan, from 2-12 August.

Seven European teams took the field today in Choceň, Czech Republic, in the opening day of the Men’s Slow Pitch Softball European Championship. Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy and Netherlands played a doubleheader today to open the event.

The top tier baseball competitions for clubs in Europe is down to semi finals and finals in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Rouen Huskies will face the hosts Neptunus, while Italian defending Champions Rimini will play Fortitudo Bologna
