Kutno, Poland to Host the U-22 Women’s Softball European Championship

The WBSC Europe is pleased to announce that the U-22 Women’s Softball European Championship will be held in Kutno, Poland, from August 5 to 10, 2024.

The European Center Malej Ligii will serve as the venue for U-22 Women’s Softball European Championship, which will feature the participation of 17 national teams.

Italy, Czechia, Netherlands, France, Germany, Ireland, Ukraine, Great Britain, Austria, Israel, Poland, Belgium, Croatia, Greece, Switzerland, Denmark, and Finland will vie for the championship title.

Originally slated to be hosted by the Irish Softball Federation, the championship had to be relocated due to a lack of the necessary facilities. Kutno, Poland, with its state-of-the-art facilities and strong softball tradition, is an ideal replacement venue.

The 2024 U-22 Women’s Softball European Championship marks the eighth edition of the event, following the 2022 edition where Italy emerged victorious, with Czechia and Netherlands securing the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
