Final entries for the Women’s Softball European Championship 2024 unveiled: 22 national teams set to compete in the Netherlands

In anticipation of the Women's Softball European Championship 2024, scheduled to take place in the Netherlands from September 1st to September 7th, the final entries have been officially announced.

A total of 22 national teams are poised to play for the title of European Champions at the Women's Softball European Championship 2024.

The squads participating are:

  • Czechia
  • Denmark
  • France
  • Germany
  • Great Britain
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • Ireland
  • Israel
  • Italy
  • Malta
  • Netherlands
  • Poland
  • Slovakia
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland
  • Ukraine

These nations will gather in the Netherlands from September 1st to September 7th with the possibility of claiming the title of Softball European Champion.

Notably, the host nation, the Netherlands, enters the tournament as the reigning European champions. They secured the title in the 2022 edition held in Sant Boi, Spain, by topping Great Britain in the gold medal game.

In that edition, a total of 21 teams participated.
