Eduardo Domínguez Méndez, a native of Madrid, Spain, introduces himself as a product of a family deeply rooted in baseball. At the age of four, his sister's enrollment in baseball led to his father becoming a coach. By the time Eduardo turned five, he was captivated by the sport, joining the Villalbilla baseball club and embarking on a journey that would shape his future.
His early years were marked by active participation in club leagues, national championships, and regional competitions. At the age of 11, Eduardo proudly represented Spain in Japan at the WBSC World Cup in 2012. As a versatile player, he had the privilege of playing with clubs across Spain, including Viladecans, El Llano, and Antorcha.
The turning point came at 16 when Eduardo decided to pursue his dream of playing in the MLB. His journey took him to the Dominican Republic, where in 2019, he achieved his goal by signing as a pitcher with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
His dedication to the sport saw him represent Spain, securing a silver medal in the U-18 Baseball European Championship 2018 and competing in the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup in South Korea in 2019.
The challenges posed by 2020 led Eduardo to Tenerife, where he continued to showcase his skills with the Marlins in the Spanish first division, División de Honor.
Amidst these experiences, he embraced the role of an Assistant Pitching Coach with the Dodgers in late 2021 and, as of 2023, accepted the position of Pitching Coach in the Dominican Summer League, contributing to the Dodgers' championship victory.
