Hi! I'm Gretchen Aucoin.
Originally from Mississippi, but through the gift of sport I have travelled and lived everywhere else.Collegiately, I played softball at Texas Tech University and University of Tennessee while graduating with a degree in Communications. I went on to earn my Masters in Kinesiology from Auburn University with a focus in biomechanics.
From there, I played professionally in the USA 2018 National Professional Fastpitch league earning a Pitcher of the Week title in June. Shortly after, I started my international playing career in New Zealand and Italy just before Covid struck.
I wrapped up my playing career December 2021 in New Zealand before heading back to the States to pursue a career in coaching baseball with the New York Mets. I am now finishing my second year with the organization as a minor league coach in the hitting department.
I've been very blessed to have had such a diverse experience through sport and look forward to growing and sharing my learnings and experiences.
