The 2024 Men's Extraliga is set to kick off on April 13, featuring eight teams ready to compete. The participating teams include the Beavers Chomutov, Hippos Havlíčkův Brod, Joudrs Prague, Painbusters Most, Spectrum Prague, Tempo Prague, Zraloci Ledenice, and the reigning champions, the Locos Břeclav.
The Locos Břeclav, Spectrum Praha, Hippos Havlickuv Brod, Tempo Praha and Žraloci Ledenice will also compete in the Men’s Softball European Super Cup.
One highlight of this season is the inclusion of several talented players from Argentina, who will be joining the ranks of Hippos and Tempo.
In the regular season, each team will play four games against every other team. The top six teams will then advance to the playoffs, scheduled to commence on September 21.

Meanwhile, the 2024 Women's Extraliga is also set to commence on April 16, featuring seven teams eager to showcase their prowess on the diamond. The participating teams include the Arrows Ostrava, Eagles Prague, Kotlářka Prague, SaBaT Prague, Tempo Prague, Zraloci Ledenice, and the reigning champions, Joudrs Prague.
Additionally, the Joudrs Praha will play in the Women’s Softball European Premier Cup 2024, while the Tempo Praha will compete in the Women’s Softball European Cup Winners Cup “A”.
Similar to the Men's Extraliga, the Women's Extraliga will see each team playing four games against every other team in the regular season.
The playoffs for the top six teams will then begin on September 14.
Each Women's Extraliga team will also have the opportunity to face off against the U-18 national team in an additional doubleheader. This series aim to provide valuable preparation for the U-18 national team as they gear up for the WBSC U-18 Women's Softball World Cup Group A in Brazil later this year.
