Blind Baseball

The World Baseball and Softball Confederation (WBSC) recognises Baseball for the Blind (B4B) as one of the forms of baseball for blind and visually impaired athletes.

Baseball for the Blind was invented by the AIBXC (Italian Association of Baseball for the Blind) and is a dynamic and fast team sport that helps athletes improve their autonomy and mobility.

The discipline is being offered to the WBSC Member Federations thanks to a cooperation agreement between the AIBXC and the WBSC.

National Federations interested in starting and developing Baseball for the Blind in their countries/territories should contact their Continental Liaison and refer to the Procedure to be followed by NFs to access B4B Development Funds.
