Host cities revealed for WBSC Europe Softball Championships and Cups 2024-2027

WBSC Europe has revealed the allocation of events for the upcoming seasons following the call for bids.

 • Women’s Softball European Premier Cup 2024 - Buttrio, Italy.
The Women’s Softball European Premier Cup, the top club event in the softball calendar, will be held the fields of Buttrio, Italy. Teams from across Europe will compete for the title of European champions.

 • Women’s Softball European Cup 2024 - Novara, Italy.
Italy will also host the second pool of European national champions: the city of Novara will play host to the Women’s Softball European Cup 2024.

 • Women’s Softball European Cup Winners Cup “A” 2024 - Haarlem, Netherlands.
Haarlem, Netherlands, is set to welcome the Women’s Softball European Cup Winners Cup "A", featuring top-tier teams striving for victory.

 • Men’s Softball European Super Cup 2024 - Prague, Czech Republic.
Prague, Czech Republic, returns to be the stage for the Men’s Softball European Super Cup, bringing together the best men's softball teams from across the continent.

While these Cups have found their hosts, the following European events are still on the lookout for suitable venues:

• Women’s Softball European Championship 2024
• U-22 Women’s Softball European Championship 2024
• Men’s Slowpitch European Championship 2024
• Women’s Softball European Cup Winners Cup “B” 2024

Bids for hosting these events are open until February 9, 2024. The bidding form can be found here.
If no host is secured by the deadline, these events may face cancellation, leaving a void in the softball calendar for the year.

Several championships have already been assigned venues for the 2024 season:

• U-15 Women’s Softball European Championship - Prague, Czech Republic
• Coed Slowpitch European Championship - Pardubice, Czech Republic
• European Massimo Romeo Youth Trophy - Collecchio, Italy

Looking ahead, the WBSC Europe has also announced host cities for upcoming Championships:

• U-23 Men’s Softball European Championship 2025 - Kunovice, Czech Republic
• U-18 & U-16 Men’s Softball European Championship 2026 - Havlíčkův Brod, Czech Republic
• U-23 Men’s Softball European Championship 2027 - Havlíčkův Brod, Czech Republic

Moreover, the Women’s Softball European Championship 2027 has received bids from two prominent cities, London (GBR) and Stuttgart (GER). The decision regarding the host city will be disclosed at a later date.
