Opening the WBSC Europe softball season: U-16 and U-18 Men's Softball European Championships take center stage in Czechia

The U-16 Men's Softball European Championship and U-18 Men's Softball European Championship are scheduled from July 3 to 8, 2023, showcasing the young European talents playing for the title of European champions.

The U-18 category will feature five teams: Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Great Britain, and Israel. The national squads will play with the added incentive of competing in the upcoming WBSC World Cup. The softball field of Sezimovo Ústí will bear witness to 22 intense games.

Czechia, Denmark, Great Britain, and Israel will also be participating in the U-16 Men's Softball European Championship. The softball facility at Areál Komora in Tábor will host 14 games.

The opening ceremony will be held in Sezimovo Ústí on Monday, July 3, 2023, at 18:30. The complete schedule is available on the WBSC Europe events' websites:

In the last edition in 2021, Czech Republic won the gold medal in both categories on the home field of Havlíčkův Brod.
