Final day of the Women's Softball European Championship: preview

The bronze medal game of the Women's Softball European Championship will be played on Sant Boi Softball Field at 15:00. Number 1 in European ranking Italy will face number three Czech Republic. Previously, on July 28, 2022, Italy defeated Czechia in five innings, 13-1. 

The winner will not only take the bronze medal home but also a ticket to the first stage of the WBSC Women's Softball World Cup.

The gold medal game will be played on Sant Boi Softball Field at 18:00. Great Britain led by Georgina CORRICK will face the Dutch national squad. 

This is the second time the two teams are opposed in the Women's Softball European Championship Game final. The first time was in Spain as well, when the Dutch topped the British in Valencia in 2009.

Fast forward to 2022, the two teams previously played on July 28, and Great Britain defeated the Kingdom of the Netherlands, 5-0.
