Thirty-one European Championships and Cups have been played so far in the 2022 baseball and softball season.

Belgium shut outs Switzerland in the final of the U-23 European Baseball Championship Qualifier in Utena, Lithuania on Friday to qualify for next year’s U-23 European Baseball Championship.

The summer in European Baseball continues this week with a pair of qualifiers for next year’s U-23 European Baseball Championship. Utena, Lithuania is hosting Belgium, Israel, Lithuania, Poland and Switzerland, while Ljubljana, Slovenia will have Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia and Ukraine in its group.
