U18 European Baseball Championship Qualifiers to be played in Sundbyberg and Trnava next week

The U18 European Baseball Championship Qualifiers will be played from July 4 to 9, 2022 in Sundbyberg, Sweden and Trnava, Slovakia. Two groups of five teams apiece will determine one winner each advancing to the U18 European Baseball Championships, which will be held in the Czech Republic in August of 2022.

Sundbyberg, Sweden will feature the U18 national teams from Sweden, Great Britain, Poland, Switzerland, and Turkey in the pool. The pool in Trnava, Slovakia features Slovakia, Belgium, Croatia, Romania, and Ukraine. From Monday to Friday a round robin preliminary phase will be played with the two best teams meeting in the final on Saturday at 2pm.

In Sundbyberg each day two games at 2pm and 6pm will be played at the facility of the Sundbyberg Heat, host of the 2009 Baseball World Cup. In Trnava two games each day are scheduled at 11am and 4pm.

Live scoring for all games will be available through www.wbsceurope.org Live streaming will be available from Sundbyberg, which you will also find through the WBSC Europe website.
