Final day of the U-15 Women's Softball European Championship: preview

Six games will be played on the two fields in Enschede, Netherlands, on the last day of the U-15 Women's Softball European Championship. 

After the joy of the two finalists for having qualified for the WBSC World Cup, it is now time to focus for Czech Republic and Italy. The two squads will play the championship game at 18:30.

In the round robin, the Czech dominated the game topping the Azzurre 10-0 on the second day of the Championship. The Italian squad grew throughout the week and will have to play their best softball to win the match.

The Kingdom of the Netherlands will battle for the bronze medal with the Ukrainian national team.

In the round robin, the Dutch won against Ukraine, 5-3, closing the game when the Ukrainians were coming back in the last inning.

France, Germany, and Lithuania will play a round-robin to define the fifth, sixth, and seventh spots.

Croatia and Great Britain will play a placement game for the eighth spot. Nevertheless, Croatia will rank eighth as the British squad played outside the competition because of some irregularities in the roster submission.
