Applications are now open for the third European Baseball Winter League

The third European Baseball Winter League (EBWL) is set to take place from November 18th to 26th, 2023, in Tenerife, Spain. The event is organised by WBSC Europe, in cooperation with the Royal Spanish Baseball and Softball Federation and the Canary Islands Baseball and Softball Federation.

Applications are now open for the third EBWL. Applications are to be sent by the player's respective National Federation.

The EBWL provides an opportunity for European baseball players to extend their season by providing additional games and quality practices with some of the top coaches from the USA and Europe. The coaches for this year's edition are Néstor Pérez, Manny Olivera, and Pete Caliendo. These coaches bring a wealth of experience to the event, having worked with players at all levels of the game.

The EBWL is open to elite 17- to 23-year-old players not only from Spain but also from all WBSC Europe National Federations members.

The cost per player is around €600, including hotels, full board, and local transportation. Plane tickets to Tenerife airport are not included and will be the responsibility of each participant.

Applications will be accepted only by National Federations.
The deadline for the applications is June 15th. After that, the applications will be reviewed, and the final rosters will be defined by July 15th.
Info can be requested at office@wbsceurope.org or to each National Federation.

The EBWL is an excellent opportunity for young European players to develop their skills, and gain valuable experience.
