U-22 Women's Softball European Championship 2024: Playball on Monday

The U-22 Women's Softball European Championship 2024 is set to begin in Kutno, Poland, from August 5 to August 10. Organized by MKS STAL BiS Kutno, this event will showcase 16 teams playing for the title of European Champion. Italy is the defending champion.

The U-22 Women's Softball European Championship 2024 will kick off on August 5 with a lineup of 12 games on day one of a total of 59 games scheduled throughout the week.

The first-day schedule promises thrilling games, with key matchups including Czechia vs. Ukraine, Israel vs. Denmark, France vs. Germany, and Croatia vs. Austria.

The participating teams have been divided into four groups:

  • Group A: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Finland
  • Group B: Denmark, Israel, Poland, Switzerland
  • Group X: France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy
  • Group Y: Czechia, Ireland, Netherlands, Ukraine

The tournament structure ensures a competitive environment, with the top eight teams from the previous championship placed in groups Y and X, automatically qualifying for the second phase of the event.

In the previous edition, Italy secured the title, followed by Czechia in second place, Netherlands in third. These teams are anticipated to perform well again, making them the ones to watch throughout the championship.
