Twelve teams will play for the title of Men's Softball European Champion in Hørsholm, Denmark. The sixteenth Men's Softball European Championship will be played at the end of July 2023.

Czechia, Denmark, Croatia, France, Netherlands, Israel Slovakia, Lithuania Great Britain, Belgium, Germany, and Spain entered the competition.

At the 2021 Men's Softball European Championship, Czechia won the gold medal in the home field of Ledenice defeating Denmark to claim the fifth European title in a row.
