Starting Tuesday Budapest, Hungary to host B-Pool U-23 Baseball Euros
The five teams playing in Budapest this week are Austria, Croatia, host Hungary, Slovakia and Ukraine. The preliminary round robin will be played from Tuesday to Saturday with the top two teams qualifying for the final on Sunday at 14:00 CEST. During first-round play two games will be played each day at 11:00 and 17:00 CEST.
In this group Austria lost its spot in the A-Pool of the U-23 Baseball European Championship, getting relegated in the 2023 tournament.
Budapest is hosting one of the two B-Pool U-23 Baseball European Championships this week with Zurich, Switzerland being the home for the second group. The two winners will play in the U-23 Baseball European Championship with Trebic, Czechia already known as hosting city in 2025.
