Today opened with a tightly contested game where Sant Boi (ESP) edged out Wiener Neustadt (AUT) 1-0, marking their first win of the tournament. Saronno (ITA) dominated Les Pharaons (FRA) 16-3.
Wiener Neustadt faced Sparks Haarlem (NED) in the early afternoon, where Sparks secured a 9-2 victory. Tempo Praha (CZE) then delivered a commanding performance against Les Pharaons, winning 10-0.
In the evening, Saronno (ITA) defeated Roef! (NED) 4-0, securing their place in the final. The final game of the day saw Sparks Haarlem (NED) defeat Bonn Capitals (GER) 11-2 in a tense matchup, worth the championship game for the home team.
With these results, the stage is set for the final showdowns. Saronno (ITA) will face Sparks Haarlem (NED) in the Championship Gold Medal Game at 13:00 at Sparks Field in Noordersportpark.
Saronno also reached last year's final at the Women's Softball European Premier Cup, while Sparks Haarlem enters the game as the reigning champions of the Women’s Softball European Cup Winners Cup “A.”
Bonn Capitals (GER) will compete against Roef! (NED) for the Bronze Medal at 11:00 at the Kinheim (Pim Mulder Stadion).
Before the medal games, tomorrow's schedule will begin with Les Pharaons (FRA) facing Sparks Haarlem (NED) at 10:00 at Sparks Haarlem's home field.
