USSSA Pride opened a 2-game series against Czech Republic with an 11-4 victory, before a packed house in Svoboda Park, in Prague. The National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) team exploded with eight runs in the fifth inning to secure the game.

The National Sports Academy of Sofia (Bulgaria) conferred the title of Honorary Professor to WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari. The lectio magistralis was based on “the challenges and responsibilities going along with becoming President of an International Sports Federation”

World N° 8 Netherlands announced today its roster to play against the USSSA Pride in the final stage of the European Pro Softball Series presented by WBSC. The orange team will host the Pride for a 3-game series, starting next Monday.

It’s the second edition of a unique event, sanctioned by WBSC, that brings together National Teams of the Balkan Region to compete in baseball, fastpitch softball and coed slowpitch softball. USSSA Pride closed today its Italian stage of the European Pro Softball Series presented by WBSC with a 2-0 win over the host national team, and swept the 2-game series against World N° 9 nation.

USSSA Pride started today the European Pro Softball Series, presented by WBSC, with a 6-0 victory against World N° 9 Italy. The game was played in Caronno Pertusella, Italy, in front of a packed house.

The USSSA European Pro Softball Series presented by WBSC will take off on Tuesday, 24 April, in Caronno Pertusella (Italy). USSSA Pride will face at the Francesco Nespoli stadium the Italian National Team at 7 pm local time (1 pm US Eastern). Game 2 is scheduled for Wednesday, 25 April, at 3 pm local time.

The road to the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will officially begin 100 days from today, with the first pitch of the XVI WBSC Women’s Softball World Championship, to be held in Chiba, Japan, from 2-12 August
